   Additional Instructions for the Picture Jigsaw
-===================================================-

--================--
  PowerPoint Version
--================--

This picture jigsaw makes use of special transitions/wipes that are not
available in microsoft powerpoint version 97 or 2000. The transitions
are only availabe in powerpoint version 2002/XP/2003. Therefore the jigsaw
effect will not work in powerpoint 97/2000.

   The Picture Jigsaw
--======================--

To make the most use of the picture jigsaw effect you need to add your own
picture or message. e.g. A persons face, or an abstract object, or products
for a quiz game.

This step by step guide shows you how to add your own picture.

(1) Open the ab-Picture-Jigsaw-Powerpoint-Game-01.pot file
(2) On slide one you will see a picture of some pills in a hand
(3) If you click on the picture, you will see that it's made up of
    individual jigsaw pieces
(4) These are the pieces that are gradually added
(5) As the pieces are added they reveal the full image/product
(6) To add your own picture to the jigsaw on slide 1

(7) Format menu > choose 'Background' > click the 'drop-down' triangle

(8) Choose "Fill Effects"

(9) Click the "Picture" tab, then "Select Picture"

(10) Navigate to where your picture is located and click Insert, then "OK"
     e.g. C:\MyPictures\Globe.JPG

(11) For best results,
     - don't tick "lock picture aspect ratio"
     - your picture should have the proportions of
       4 units wide, by 3 units tall (e.g. 800x600 pixels)
(12) This effectively tells powerpoint that whatever is on the "Format>background"
     is the image to fill the jigsaw pieces.

If you zoom out of slide 1 (View menu > zoom > 50% > OK), you should see a
white rectangle, this is the background color that is first shown on-screen
during a slideshow. You can edit this rectangle just like any other powerpoint
object.

When you view the slideshow each piece will slowly be added after 0.5 seconds
You can slow down the reveal by:
(1) View menu > zoom > 50% > OK
(2) Click and hold the mouse button, while drawing a rectangle that
    encompasses all the pieces, but does not include the white rectangle.
(3) SlideShow menu > Custom Animation > Speed > Change the setting from
    'Very Fast' to Fast (1 second) or Medium (2 seconds)

You can speed up the reveal by:
(1) View menu > zoom > 50% > OK
(2) Click and hold the mouse button, while drawing a rectangle that
    encompasses all the pieces, but does not include the white rectangle.
(3) SlideShow menu > Custom Animation > Right Click any of the entries on the
    Custom Animation timeline and choose 'Timing' > Change the setting from
    Very Fast (0.5 seconds) to 0.2 seconds. You will have to type this
    number in.

You can also choose any outline color you like for the jigsaw pieces
(1) View menu > zoom > 50% > OK
(2) Click and hold the mouse button, while drawing a rectangle that
    encompasses all the pieces, but does not include the white rectangle.
(3) Then use powerpoints normal "line color" tool (along the bottom edge)
